Build an agent

Connect your MCP client with a read-only token, then try these briefs.

Compare training speed

Works with the current API.

Compare my ILCA 6 training sessions from the last month. Identify my boat in each session, asking me about ambiguous names. Find steady upwind segments and compare median speed over ground and wind-relative VMG. Group comparable wind conditions and tacks, show sample duration and flag missing wind or poor GPS. Cache downloads and use read-only tools.

The workflow is:

  1. listOwnedSailSyncSessions finds sessions by date and class.
  2. getOwnedSailSyncSession supplies track IDs.
  3. getOwnedSailSyncGpsPoints downloads positions; getSailSyncWind supplies configured wind.
  4. The agent calculates locally and reports each session’s comparable segments, duration, speed and VMG.

Use the same boat class and consistent segment-selection rules. GPS gives speed over ground, not through water. Report unknown wind as unknown; current and sea state can affect cross-session differences.

For longer histories, work in batches and retain completed downloads. See limits and the real response examples.

Find upwind lineups

Detection works today; saving lineups needs a new API operation. Use completed recordings, not an active-session live stream.

Find upwind lineups with at least three boats in this session. Look for boats on the same tack with similar courses and overlapping steady sailing. Exclude tacks, acceleration and GPS gaps. Trim each comparison window to the interval all selected boats share. Return boat IDs, start/end times, duration and quality notes as proposals for review.

The agent reads tracks, GPS and configured wind, finds suitable groups, then intersects their steady intervals. It should state its duration, proximity and course-spread thresholds so you can tune the results. It preserves the original recordings.

Today the output is a local report or proposal file. The public API cannot yet save lineup comments or change track trims, and there is no subscriber webhook to trigger the agent automatically.
